Breviscapine can relieve symptoms such as hemiplegia, limb weakness, numbness of half of the body, difficulty in speech, dark tongue with瘀点瘀斑 (petechiae and ecchymoses), and unsmooth pulse caused by stroke.

It can also relieve symptoms such as chest tightness and pain caused by chest bi-syndrome, even radiating chest pain to the back, fixed pain location, more severe pain at night, palpitation, shortness of breath, purple and dark tongue, and wiry and unsmooth pulse.
